Reminiscing About Europe

By | December 18, 2008

I don’t know if I mentioned it already or not, but I made myself a goal: to print and label my Europe pictures before the Christmas parties start so I can pass them around for my friends and relatives to see. I printed around 300 pictures, which is about 1,000 less than the amount Suze and I took altogether. (Not bad, eh? I was pretty impressed that I could ruthlessly ignore so many pictures, although I have to admit that my tight budget had something to do with it. Also, I only had 2 photo albums to fill, so I had to keep my number of picture choices on the slim side.)

Anyway, I’ve had to go back through my journal for a few facts in order to label my pictures and that has brought all the fun memories flooding back…

On Cinque Terre, Italy: “The view along the trail was really pretty. It’s amazing how people can build villages into the sides of cliffs, and it’s great that they have also left so much of it still undeveloped. Steep rocky drops into clear sparkling blue and green water. Breathtaking.”
